“Hope” or “Nope” for Lebron James?

If you live in the greater Boston area, you’ve might have seen I Love Boston Sports! (see comments below for company info) unbelievably funny “Nope” shirt that features Lebron James in a similar fashion to Shepard Fairey’s Barack Obama “Hope” portrait from the 2008 presidential election. I saw it today in one of their shops (right).
This shirt is also in response to the Hope For Lebron shirt that came out in March in Cleveland.
This has to be one of the best parody uses of Obama’s “Hope” image. I laughed out loud when I saw this yesterday for the first time, and I went back today to take this picture because I was so impressed with the shirt!

If anyone is shocked by Lawrence Taylor’s arrest this week for third-degree rape and patronize a prostitute, obviously hasn’t been paying attention to the wild life of Lawrence Taylor. In a criminal complaint filed against the 16 year-old alleged pimp, Rasheed Davis, Federal prosecutors said that Taylor (Client-1) admitted to having sex with the girl. Taylor alleges that Davis told him that the girl was 19 and he paid $300 for her services…and I believe him.
Taylor has never shied away from his shady off the field antics. In a 2008 radio interview with Howard Stern, Taylor discussed his daily routine in Florida as golf in the morning followed by lunch at a strip club on his way home. If your goal was to big the biggest douche in America, the guy above trying to look like Tim Tebow, won. The first round of the 2010 NFL Draft was highlighted by a surprise 25th overall pick of University of Florida’s Quarterback Tim Tebow by the Denver Broncos. ESPN sent prized reporter, Jeremy Schaap, to spend the night at Tebow’s home. Throughout the night, ESPN would show Tebow sitting at home waiting for either extreme disappointment or elation. Hovering in the background (and never leaving the camera’s view) was someone dressed eerily similar to Tim Tebow. Its not like Tebow was wearing a white shirt either, it was an aqua button down.
