Alex starts off the show talking about another celebrity that can be added to the list of oil savers, Troy Aikman.  It started with Kevin Costner, then James Cameron, and now former Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Troy Aikman.  It has to be embarrassing if you are a scientist and haven’t been approached with ideas to stop the oil.  What about the guy who actually found the Titantic (Bob Ballard), and not the guy who filmed a movie about it?  I heard Nolan Ryan might have some good ideas, that will last another nine-innings.

The Gary Coleman dying photos are kind of gross.  Alex talks about how he wouldn’t be able to photography his cat if it died.  It must be that strong love that Shannon Price had for Coleman (not really).  Check out the episode of “It Could Be Worse…Gary Coleman” to see the photo.

Alex tells the wild story of Jordan Van der Sloot who you might remember from the Natalee Holloway case.  Van der Sloot has been arrested for the murder of Stephany Flores in Peru.  The story is just insane, with Van der Sloot unknowingly taking money from the FBI in a setup and then heading to Peru where he murdered Flores in a fit of rage because she found stuff on his computer about the Holloway case.

Alex is sore from how quickly he jumped of the Flyers bandwagon after they lost the Stanley Cup from the Chicago Blackhawks last night.  If you think that was bad, wait and see if the US does well in the World Cup.  Alex will remind everyone that has a goalie in 8th grade he had a shutout season.

The college football landscape is changing like never before.  There could be a set of brand new “super” conferences.  That won’t make things any better for USC who will be penalized for the next couple of years for violations during the Reggie Bush era.  Alex wonders if Reggie Bush even cares.  He has a Super Bowl ring, millions of dollars, and Kim Kardashian…I would say college prepared him well.
